At times of great joy and great sadness in our lives God is especially with us through the love and compassion we experience and share with others. The celebration of new life and the bringing of a child to baptism, the decision of an adult to seek baptism and the love of two people sealed in marriage are times of great happiness and joy.

St Stephen’s church also seeks to bring the comfort of God’s love seen in Jesus to those who are grieving the death of a loved one.  Where desired we  offer home visits for prayer and listening.

Baptisms

If you wish to have your child or yourself baptised into God’s family, again please contact the church office for an appointment with Rev Clive Burrows.

Funerals

We work closely with a number of local funeral directors in arranging funerals. We conduct funerals both in church and at crematoriums. Services of Thanksgiving can also be arranged.
