At times of great joy and great sadness in our lives God is especially with us through the love and compassion we experience and share with others. The celebration of new life and the bringing of a child to baptism, the decision of an adult to seek baptism and the love of two people sealed in marriage are times of great happiness and joy.

St Stephen’s church also seeks to bring the comfort of God’s love seen in Jesus to those who are grieving the death of a loved one. We hold twice-annual bereavement services and, where desired, offer home visits for prayer and listening.
